There are 3 International Airports serving the NYC metro area. They are JFK, Laguardia and Newark. Newark Airport is the closest airport to NYC and our home - just 15 minutes. (Newark airport code is EWR.) At NYC Bed and Breakfast we offer car service from Newark Airport to our home for $40 for up to 2 persons. We do NOT offer car/taxi service from any other area airports.

Jersey City is larger in square miles than Manhattan and you must have specific directions to arrive at nycbedandbreakfast. Please copy and print the necessary information to help make your travel uncomplicated. Thank you!!
Make sure you get a price quote from the taxi in front of the taxi manager. Ask if the tolls and tip are included before you leave the airport!

via metro/subway: 1-2 hours. Cost: $5 + $2.25 = $7.25 If you would like to take the metro from JFK, follow these instructions. The metro is ultra safe, fast and inexpensive.
Take
the Air-Train from any JFK terminal ($5) to the “Howard Beach” Subway Station where passengers board the "A" train –The A Train is part of
the NYC subway system. ASK THE ATTENDANT FOR A SUBWAY MAP! They are
free and very well marked. To enter the subway system, you must
purchase a ticket from the machine or attendant. The cost is $2.25.
When
you board the A-train, be certain it is going towards NYC/Manhattan,
NOT away from NYC. The metro goes in both directions of course!
Go
approximately 7 stops to Euclid Ave. Station. Get off the subway at
Euclid Ave. and transfer to the Manhattan bound C-train. (DO NOT EXIT
THE STATION. THE TRANSFER IS INSIDE THE STATION. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO
PAY AGAIN.) The C-train is probably just across the train platform.
This is an express train and will be much faster.
Or, if you
prefer to stay on the A train, they both follow the same route. It is
your decision. The A train makes many stops. The C train is very
direct with just a few stops.
Take the A or C train to the
Chambers St. Station. Exit the subway and walk to the PATH train at
the WTC station (World Trade Center). It is close. Ask anyone where the World Trade Center is. New York people are friendly.
At
the WTC, take the PATH train going to Newark or Journal Square. The
train will say “Newark” or “Journal Square - JSQ” on it. The cost is
$1.50 per person. Take this train 3 stops to Journal Square, (JSQ).
Get off the train at the Journal Square Station.
Go to the top
of the escalators and see on your left a taxi stand. It will cost approximately $5-10 to take everyone to my home. With your luggage I
suggest it. Or you can walk. Follow Kennedy Blvd. South approximately
5 blocks to Glenwood Ave. Make a right onto Glenwood and my home is
near the end of the block.
The address is 149-A Glenwood Ave. Tell the cab driver the address is near Saint Peter’s College, he will know this area.
Or
you can check out these links for bus information into NYC from JFK
airport... then follow directions to the PATH train station... located
one block away from Penn Station Manhattan on 33 St. and 6 Ave. Take
the train marked Journal Square – JSQ. Exit at Journal Square and
follow directions to my home. (please remember like the NYC metro
system, the PATH system has many stations.)
